Keep in mind the following tips for gathering information about a rational function:
The domain excludes all of the undefined or "bad" x values.
The range excludes (possibly) horizontal asymptotes and "holes"
The end behavior is what happens to y values as x goes to +/- infinity
Horizontal asymptotes are defined by end behavior
Vertical asymptotes are defined by undefined x values that aren't canceled
Y-intercepts are found at f(0)
Zeroes are the defined values where the numerator = 0
Holes are defined by the undefined x values that are canceled
