Quiz Wed/Thurs

We've got a quiz coming up on trigonometry.  It covers 13-1 through 13-3 in the book.  You should be able to do the following:

Find reference angles.
Construct right triangles on a coordinate plane.
Recall the relationships of the sides of 30-60-90 and 45-45-90 right triangles.
Solve for any trig functions to an exact value without a calculator.
Convert between degree and radian measures.

5/12 Classwork and Homework

Today we dove into our review of Trig functions.  Below is the classwork (Right angle Trig) .  The homework (Angles of elevation) will be collected and graded.

 

5/9 Starting Trig HW

The assignment for Monday is out of the book on Page 933 (2-12, 20, 27)

Keep in mind the following Trigonometric Identities:

sin x = (Opposite/Hypotenuse)          SOH
cos x = (Adjacent/Hypotenuse)         CAH
tan x = (Opposite/Adjacent)              TOA

csc x = 1/sin x
sec x = 1/cos x
cot x = 1/tan x

 

Transformations Review

We've got a a Test coming up on transformations.  We've done a lot of review for this and had our group quiz.  The following is a bit more review.  Be sure to go over your notes, group quiz, and homework assignments to prepare.
